The last few months I have been interning for Antipodium in their production department. This week uni started again and we are starting of with the final project for this year. It is about creating our own brand, designing a collection for it and market it to the target customers to create brand awareness. I am excited to be back and so I am highly motivated to create new inspiring work!
Part of the project was to make one key item of the collection. I decided to make the following jacket out of softshell and softshell with ceramic print. It is really protective as it is wind- and waterproof and the fabric is able to adjust to temperature changes.
The key items of the Bproof range presented in illustrations hand-drawn and reworked with Photoshop.
Bproof by Giulia Wutz is a womenswear range for SS15 consisting of twenty-four items including outerwear, tops, bottoms and dresses. The range links performance wear to fashion forward designs through new high technology fabrics and therefore positions itself in a niche market.
Smart fabrics like Primaloft and Softshell are used to develop transitional garments offering the customer ‘gym-to-door’ products. The garments produced to high quality are fitted to the body shape to support the wearer and make them feel comfortable. The brand’s USP is the innovative approach to the new developing fabric technologies, the design aesthetic and most importantly the brand DNA adding an emotional factor to the brand.
‘She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for that sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile even if she was sad. No, she wasn’t beautiful for something as temporary as her looks.
SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL, DEEP DOWN TO HER SOUL.’
